What does "Unlimited Looks" mean?

In photography (and on set/stage), each outfit that you wear is called a "look". Most headshot photographers charge by the look (e.g. 3 looks for $500), but with the continued rise of digital casting, actors and actresses are expected to have a large variety of headshots to best represent themselves in different roles.

For aspiring and working actors and actresses, that can get expensive quickly! So we let you shoot as many looks as you want. Our sessions are generally enough for 5-7 looks, but we can shoot at whatever pace you're comfortable with! Whether you want to go for 8 looks or 3, it's your choice! And you'll never pay extra for your wardrobe changes.

What's the deal with the "Spring Special"?

We know that not everyone has the same means, and we don't believe that price should be an obstacle to actors and actresses getting great headshots! Or maybe you simply don't need 5 or 6 different looks, and you don't need a full session. Either way, you can just book a 1-hour session, and you save both time and money!

"Spring Special" sessions are one hour long, unlimited looks, and instead of paying $300, it's only $200. And when we're done, you'll still get three free retouches of your choice.

Do you work with a makeup artist and hair stylist?

We have makeup artists and stylists that we contract with, but they're not dedicated in-house. And while we don't require that you hire one, we highly recommend meticulous grooming and makeup application. The perception of care in your personal appearance can have a considerable effect on the perception of you as a professional!

Also, if you have a makeup artist and/or stylist that you'd like to work with, feel free to bring them along!

Can I change my hair/shave partway through the shoot?

Certainly! The time in the studio is yours to do with as you like. If you want to curl or straighten your hair or shave your facial hair halfway through, you're totally free to do that. This can be a smart and efficient way to portray different sides of yourself without having to book multiple sessions.

What happens after the shoot?

At the end of our shoot, we'll handle the remaining payment for your session. Afterwards, we'll go through and delete any blurry, blinky, or otherwise undesirable shots, and then send them to you as 72dpi JPEGs on Dropbox for you and your reps to peruse. Let us know the three photos you'd like to have edited, and we'll retouch them for you for free!

Our turnaround time is about 72 hours, and then we'll send you the finished hi-res 300dpi versions that'll be fit for printing as well as smaller 72dpi versions that'll be better for using online. And that's it!

Do you accept PayPal? Venmo? Cash? Checks?

For the booking fee, we only accept credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover) on the website. However, if you'd rather pay with PayPal or Venmo, use the contact form below to message us directly. Just let us know the date, approximate time, and which headshot package you'd like, and we'll facilitate the booking process with you personally.

At the end of the shoot, when we finalize your payment, you can pay with either credit card, PayPal, Venmo, or cash. Sorry, we don't accept checks.

Can I book a longer session than what's above?

Absolutely! Contact us directly using the form below, and let us know the date, approximate time, and how long you'd like to shoot, and we'll facilitate the booking process with you personally.

Note: Longer sessions start at $450 for a 3-hour session, and each additional hour is +$150.
