What does "Unlimited Looks" mean?

In photography (and on set/stage), each outfit that you wear is called a "look". Most headshot photographers charge by the look (e.g. 3 looks for $500), but that can add up quickly as actors and actresses typically need a large variety of headshots representing themselves in various roles and contexts for their acting profiles on the major casting sites.

So we let you shoot as many looks as you want! Our sessions are generally enough for 5-7 looks, but we can shoot at whatever pace you're comfortable with. Whether you want to go for 8 looks or 3, it's your choice! And you'll never pay extra for your wardrobe changes.

What's the deal with the "Winter Special"?

Maybe you want to do a wide range of commercial and theatrical looks, or perhaps you need to make drastic hair and makeup changes throughout your shoot, or shave halfway through to get shots both with and without facial hair. Booking an extra hour is a great way to ensure there's enough time to get through everything you want to do in your shoot, and you get a $100 discount off your second hour!

"Winter Special" sessions are two hours long, unlimited looks, and instead of paying $500, it's only $400. And you can split the session with a friend, and you'll both save!

Do you work with a makeup artist and hair stylist?

We have makeup artists and hair stylists that we associate with, but they're not dedicated in-house. And while we don't require that you hire one, we highly recommend meticulous grooming and makeup application. The perception of care in your personal appearance has a direct effect on the perception of you as a professional!

Also, if you have a makeup artist and/or hair stylist that you'd like to work with, feel free to bring them along!

Can I change my hair/shave partway through the shoot?

Certainly! The time in the studio is yours to do with as you like. If you want to curl or straighten your hair or shave your facial hair halfway through, you're totally free to do that. This can be a smart and efficient way to portray different sides of yourself without having to book multiple sessions.

What happens after the shoot?

At the end of our shoot, we'll handle the remaining payment for your session. Afterwards, we'll go through and delete any blurry, blinky, or otherwise undesirable shots, and then send them to you as JPEGs on Dropbox for you and your reps to peruse. Let us know the three photos you'd like to have edited, and we'll retouch them for you for free!

Our turnaround time is about 72 hours, and then we'll send you the finished versions so you can put your new headshots to work. And that's it!
